1. Working Conditions
Alkali Soil (Solonetz): contains sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate, gray-white to dark gray, hard alkalinization crust on surface. pH 8.5-10.5, salt content 0.5%-3%. Hardness 10-25MPa, soft to medium-hard rock. Hard surface alkalinization crust requires professional breaking equipment for effective stripping.
Mono-arm ripper (C Series) is recommended for surface crust breaking and alkali soil stripping. Flexible operation and controllable breaking force effectively break the alkalinization crust while protecting the underlying soil structure.

4. Construction Process
· Alkali Soil Survey: Confirm layer thickness, alkalinization crust depth, salt content, and pH; assess crust cementation strength for model selection
· Alkalinization Crust Pre-treatment: Hard alkalinization crust; pre-break the surface crust with the ripper to reduce overall stripping resistance
· Layered Stripping: Strip from top to bottom along soil direction; first break alkalinization crust, then strip underlying alkali soil; control thickness 300-500mm
· Breaking & Screening: Screen through vibrating screen; control product size ≤350mm; keep alkalinization crust debris and soil separate for stacking
· Land Improvement Application: Stripped alkali soil can be mixed with desulfurization gypsum, humic acid, and other amendments for soil improvement
· Site Grading: Grade the site after operation to restore surface morphology and meet land reclamation requirements

6. Construction Precautions
· Alkalinization Crust Assessment: Surface crust is the main construction difficulty; assess its thickness and cementation strength first, pre-break if necessary
· Layered Stripping Principle: Alkalinization crust and underlying alkali soil should be stripped and stacked separately for subsequent classification or improvement
· Alkaline Dust Protection: Dust from alkali soil operations is alkaline and irritating to respiratory system; equip workers with dust masks and dust suppression systems
· Model Selection: Hardness 10-25MPa; C Series fully capable, no J Series needed
· Equipment Corrosion: High pH is corrosive to metals; use anti-corrosion hydraulic oil, regularly check hydraulic cylinder and pin corrosion
