1. Working Conditions
Conglomerate: rounded pebbles and cobbles cemented together, alluvial fans/river terraces/ancient riverbed deposits. Pebble size 2-100mm, >50% of rock. Siliceous: 40-75MPa; calcareous: 30-50MPa; ferruginous: 25-45MPa. Overall 25-80MPa, medium-hard to hard rock with high mining difficulty.
Separate-arm ripper (J Series) is recommended for high hardness and strong pebble abrasion. Split structure provides concentrated breaking force and strong penetration, specifically designed for hardness above 30MPa.

4. Construction Process
· Conglomerate Survey: Confirm layer thickness, pebble size distribution, cement type, and hardness distribution; conduct multi-point hardness testing of each layer
· Cement Type Identification: Siliceous=gray-white/yellow-brown; calcareous=gray-yellow; ferruginous=red-brown for cement type judgment
· Equipment Selection: Select CSJ700J for 30-40MPa, CSJ900J for 40-55MPa, CSJ1200J for 55MPa and above based on test hardness
· Layered Stripping: Strip from top to bottom along bedding, control layer thickness 300-500mm; utilize joints and fractures to reduce breaking resistance
· Breaking & Screening: Screen through vibrating screen; control product size ≤350mm; stack pebbles and cementite separately
· Slope Trimming: Use Separate-arm ripper for slope trimming to ensure stable and regular mining face

6. Construction Precautions
· Equipment Selection is Core: Conglomerate hardness ≥30MPa mandates Separate-arm ripper (J Series)! C Series cannot handle this! Incorrect selection leads to severe equipment wear and low efficiency
· Cement Type Identification: Different cement types have vastly different hardness; conduct multi-point sampling and testing before construction to get average hardness for model selection
· Pebble Hardness Impact: Pebble hardness in conglomerate may exceed cement hardness; for extremely hard pebbles (e.g., quartz pebbles), select a larger model
· Equipment Maintenance: Separate-arm ripper wears significantly on hard conglomerate; check drill rod and tooth tip wear each shift, replace promptly; hydraulic oil change interval every 200h recommended
· Working Face Management: Keep face flat and orderly, clear debris promptly for smooth equipment movement and improved efficiency
